Dubai: The State of Credit

uae2

A picture can describe more than words, in 13 years we can see the change by credit. Dubai is boring show that based on insanely increasing which led to a crisis. Sometimes, I think Dubai like a psycho person who need a shrink to help him in this complicated life, and whats happen to Dubai is the same. They don’t know the meaning of the word “Transparency”. All they care about is The media, the real weapon of Dubai.

We all know the principals of accounting, we all know we can’t take loans if you don’t have assets that covers your liabilities. But, in Dubai they don’t have this equation of accounting because they care about the media more than the reality.  When you want to build anything, you will start how to build it then you think about how it will be look. In Dubai, all they care how it will be look. They want to showoff, not to build a real economic community. They left everything to God’s will. God gave you a mind to think, not let everything to God.

When the financial crisis attacked US, in Dubai they pretend that they in good situation, and the Financial Crisis would not effect them. The whole world take decision to face this crisis, except Dubai. They did not face the facts because they know what the results of facing these facts. A 59$ billion as a debt is a huge number for a state that do not have any assets to cover this debt is a risk to many banks. The Financial Crisis started because of the mortgage in United States, but in Dubai: In Building Skyscrapers. There are some news about the oil of Dubai won’t last for next 10 years, Where is the money of oil?

I am not a financial analyst (I will graduate soon to be FA), but I can read the facts that shows Dubai will fall. Increasing insanely leads to fall insanely. I think what will happen to Dubai is that they will lose more than their loans. I think we should name Dubai: The State of Credit. or, Debt Utilization By An Insane.

it would be great to also show before and after pictures for Kuwait…you’ll notice something interesting…NOTHING CHANGED!! yes, the odd buildings & malls here and there…but on a country level…ZERO! sad but true, thinking that back in the 70’s, we had Abu Dhabi, Dubai and the rest of the gulf following us. Yes, Dubai took a hit, but they’ve built an infrastructure for the future (for the next 20 years!)…and that’s worth a lot of dineros!
