Review: DHL EasyShop
Yesterday, I recevied my 5kg package from DHL. I paid 12.5KD for duties, for these fees:
- Stamp Fee – 1 KD
- Global Clearing System charges – 3.5 KD
- Bayan Fee – 5 KD
- National Aviation Services – 3 KD
and 26KD for DHL. What I thinking there is something wrong and I don’t know this wrong from DHL or Kuwait Customs. In January, I received a shipment and they considered it as a commercial quantity, so I have to do the declaration process by myself. I paid more than 50 KD to declare a 500$ shipment and It was commercial quantity. But, in my DHL shipment I think the customs started to deal with each shipment alone, not like the old days .. all shipments are one shipment in the papers.
As I know, no taxes for personal shipments, but what the hell with customs? Because when you order something to your mailbox here in Kuwait, you get it for free .. and they just call you to pick it up from Kaifan, but the problem I can’t trust them because of my friend and his 600KD UNSEEN shipment.

iMac 27 or Macbook Pro 15?
![]()
In previous weeks, I was looking to many reviews about MacBook Pro and the new iMac 27. I’m still kinda lost which one to choose, Macbook Pro 15 for 2399$ or iMac 27″ for 2399$. I’m thinking in Macbook Pro to help me in college, but I hate laptops a lot, because of my previous experience with Acer. I am a PC user for a long time, and I tried Mac for one time only.
So, which one is the best for me. iMac comes with Quad-Core 2.8 GHz i7 Intel Processor, 8GB Ram, and 1TB drive. I know these specifications can rock my graphics world, but there is something hidden which is shipping cost to Kuwait. It will cost me approximately around 80 to 100kd with DHL. In fact, I’m afraid of facing problems with iMac. Many people are facing a Flickering Screen problem with their iMacs.

Dubai: The State of Credit

A picture can describe more than words, in 13 years we can see the change by credit. Dubai is boring show that based on insanely increasing which led to a crisis. Sometimes, I think Dubai like a psycho person who need a shrink to help him in this complicated life, and whats happen to Dubai is the same. They don’t know the meaning of the word “Transparency”. All they care about is The media, the real weapon of Dubai.
We all know the principals of accounting, we all know we can’t take loans if you don’t have assets that covers your liabilities. But, in Dubai they don’t have this equation of accounting because they care about the media more than the reality. When you want to build anything, you will start how to build it then you think about how it will be look. In Dubai, all they care how it will be look. They want to showoff, not to build a real economic community. They left everything to God’s will. God gave you a mind to think, not let everything to God.
